Know Exactly Where Your Year Went

The Ledger is a printed life dashboard. It works in three steps: a row a night, a score a month, and a year on the record.

  • A year you can account for, in one book
  • You come across as the put-together one
  • Miss a week, you lose a row, not the year
  • Every grid is printed, you start tonight

Read the full policy

I’ll use it for a week, then drop off.

You might. Most books get put down for a while. This one is undated, so there are no dates to catch up on — picking it up again reads as a fresh start. The page is monthly, so a week away costs one row. Fill one month; if the results are not there, we refund you and you keep the book.

Can’t I do this in any notebook?

You can. It means drawing the grid and the columns yourself, every month. You set up the same thing over and over. Here the habit rows, the score columns and the month view are printed already, so the page is ready when you sit down. The blank pages are still in the book, at the back of every month, for whatever you want.

A fixed layout will feel forced.

It is a grid, not a script. Gratitude, habit rows and score columns are printed, but you choose what belongs in them. The blank pages are for what the grid does not cover.

Got it last week and its so easy to use, a quick 5 minutes each night to write down your thoughts for the day, while also being able to keep track of your habits and goals. The front cover and page material is top level, feels like an actual personal journal that you treasure and want to keep safe. Must get!!!!

I've been using the Ledger every morning for the past few weeks, and it's quickly become part of my daily routine. It only takes a few minutes to fill out, but having all my tasks, goals and thoughts in one place helps me start each day with a clear plan. I've genuinely noticed that spending just a few minutes each morning makes my whole day feel more productive and focused. The quality of the Ledger is also crazy, beyond premium. Highly recommened

The undated pages are what made it work for me

I've bought and abandoned so many planners but what made this one stick were the undated pages. I skipped maybe two weeks in June and just picked it back up where I left off without that restart guilt. The monthly layout is doing more for me than any app ever did.

Built in public · @ordinstudios

We built it because we needed it too.

We’re Alex and Kush. We had more data about ourselves than ever, and no idea if our lives were going anywhere. We knew we weren’t the only ones. Measured to death, still lost, still ashamed of the weeks we missed. So we built the planner we all needed: life metrics, direction, follow-through. Quiet. Not for show. Only you will know what changed. Everyone else just sees the result. Now we run our own months in public, pages shown, so you never have to take our word for it.

You stop wondering where the month went.

Your friends start asking what changed.

  • The top of the printed day page: day and date, a gratitude block of three numbered lines, and an as many wins as possible block, on a fine grid

    The day page

    • Three gratitude lines — what was good today is on the record, not lost.
    • As many wins as possible — you see what you did do, even if it wasn’t much.
    • Key tasks for tomorrow — you wake up already knowing what the morning is for.
  • The printed month spread: goals for health, wealth and mind, an adventure plan and outcome, a row for every day with a highlight and a satisfaction score out of five, a habit grid, sleep from three to ten hours, and a rating out of five for health, wealth, mindset, relationships and satisfaction

    The month page

    • Goals for health, wealth and mind — no more years that go by with no progress.
    • One adventure a month — the year gives you something to tell people about.
    • Habits, sleep and a score each day — the pattern shows up before the calendar does.
  • The printed year in review page: a twelve month grid scored across five rows for health, wealth, mindset, relationships and satisfaction, then best month, biggest improvement, pillar of the year and a notes block

    The year review page

    • Twelve months across, five rows down — the year stops being a blur.
    • Best month and biggest improvement — you read what happened, not what you remember.
    • Pillar of the year, and a notes block — no year goes missing from the record.

Two moments

How to use it

  1. Tonight

Open the day page. Three lines of gratitude, the wins, the key tasks for tomorrow.

  2. Month-end

Tick the habit rows, plot the sleep row. Score the month out of five: health, wealth, mindset, relationships, satisfaction. Write one reflection.

Sound like you?

Who it works for

“I feel like I haven’t done a darn thing.”

I want to look back and see what filled the month. Even if it wasn’t much.

“I have too many things to keep in my head.”

I want to see what deserves my attention this month. Not a new system.

For a record of your life, in your own words.

Questions

Before you ask.

I’ve started a record before and it stopped.

Usually it stopped because life got heavy. The Ledger is built to survive that. Monthly spreads, not daily, so if you miss a week you miss a row, not the whole system. There is nothing to break and nothing to feel guilty about. An empty cell is information, not failure.

Isn’t this just an expensive notebook?

The $100 is not for the cover. It is for the printing: twelve months of dashboards, habit grids and score columns, already ruled. A cheap notebook leaves you to rule them yourself. It’s undated, so one book runs the whole year and picks up whenever you start.

I don’t have time for this.

Ninety seconds a night and about fifteen minutes at month-end. Every field is already a question, so you fill in a form, not a blank page. It’s designed to ask less of you than the phone you’re already on.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

The Filled Month Guarantee: fill one month, and if the results aren’t there, we’ll refund you in full and you keep the book. The only way to find out is to actually run a month, so the risk is on us, not you.

When will I notice anything?

Nobody can promise you a date, so we promise this instead. Fill one monthly dashboard. If that first month shows you nothing, the month is free: full refund, and you keep the book. You have 90 days from delivery to claim. Email hello@ordinstudios.co. Send your order number and a photo of that month.
